Golden Tools

Golden tools are basically the tools you get from tom nook's store, but in gold. You can't just buy them, you either make them or you earn them.
Golden Shovel
For the golden shovel, all you need is 2 normal shovels from tom nook's store, you bury one with the the other shovel. Wait a few days and then you dig it up and 'poof' you got yourself a golden shovel.
Golden Net
To get the golden net, you will need to have caught ALL the bugs in the game. Then you go talk to Tortimer and he will give it to you. The golden net is bigger, so it is easier for players to catch bugs.
Golden Fishing Rod
To obtain the golden fishing rod, you will have to have caught ALL the fishes in the game, then you talk to Tortimer and he will have given you the golden fishing rod. The golden fishing rod had a special effect on it that makes it easier to fish fish.
Golden Slingshot
You can receive the golden slingshot by shooting down 15 floating presents that will appear at random moments on the upper screen of your DS. With the golden slingshot you can shoot 3 stones at once, which makes it much easier to use.
Golden Watering Can
You can get the golden watering can from Pelly or Phyllis after keeping the town perfect for at least around 2 weeks, keep in mind sometimes its more or less then 2 weeks. With the golden watering can it allows players to turn withered Black Roses into Golden Roses.
Golden Timer
A lot of people think that the timer tool isn't in gold but it is! you just have to get all the other golden tools and then the next day Tortimer will be standing outside your house asking you if you want the golden timer.
Golden Axe
The golden axe (I think) is the hardest to obtain. You get it from Pascal (the otter) after completing the trading game. (see Below)

1. Purchase a Red Turnip seed from Joan the Sow on a Sunday. Plant the Red Turnips and it must be watered daily. 
2. After 2 days you can dig up the red turnip and give it to Wendell the Walrus when he comes to town. Wendell will either give players a Turban or a Country Guitar.
   • Give the Country Guitar to K.K. Slider to receive his picture.
3. If you received the Turban, they must give it to Saharah the Camel when she comes to town. Saharah will give players a Massage Chair or a Red Vase.
   • Give the Red Vase to Redd the Fox. He will give the player a Safe.
     • Give the Safe to Tom Nook to receive his picture.
4. If players received the Massage Chair, give it to Tortimer the next time he is outside City Hall for an event. Tortimer will give the player a Scallop.
5. Pascal is the last person to talk to in the Golden Axe Trading game. Once you give him the scallop he will ask you "What did you drop on the beach, man?". Your options are as follows:
• A golden axe, in which case he will call you a liar but will give you the Golden Axe anyway.
• A silver axe, in which case he will say you are lying and will ask the question again.
• Nothing, in which case he will give you his picture. 
In some other websites/blogs it will say a short cut is to find the scallop on the beach, but then you MUST find the Scallop NOT the White Scallop.
