Every day, a money rock will randomly appear around your town. When you hit it with a shovel or an axe money MIGHT bounce out of it. The rock can be hit repeatedly for increasing amounts of money, come times one hit will do and sometimes no money comes out at all. The amount of money the rock gives varies from game to game and depends on how fast you hit it, your level of yellow 'Feng Shui' (I will do a post about this), and in 'Animal Crossing: City Folk', what it's hit with. Anything occupying a space around the money rock will also prevent bags from dropping in that area. In order to get the most from the money rock the player will need to prevent the kickback from hitting the rock (put holes with your shovel around the player and the rock). For towns with more than one user, each user gets their own different money rock.
